So, it’s been almost ten hours since WrestleMania came to it’s epic conclusion. Epic as in runtime, if nothing else. By the time we saw Roman Reigns win his third WWE title, the majority of the (legitimate) 93,000+ crowd in Dallas were left feeling drained, and wondering just what on earth they saw.

It’s WrestleMania Sunday! And you know what that means… the biggest WrestleMania in history, which ended up being the longest WrestleMania in History. And Good Lord, it sure felt like it by the end!
With WrestleMania only a matter of days away now, it’s only fitting that this week’s Random Reviews takes a look at some of the lesser-remembered matches that have taken place on the “Showcase of the Immortals”.
With WrestleMania only hours away, we should probably go back through the history of WrestleMania and pluck out some of the main events and more memorable matches from the prior 31 events. Of course, all of these are currently available on the WWE Network, so there’ll be no YouTube links here!
It’s an event that started in Madison Square Garden, spent over two decades largely confined to arenas, before blossoming into stadia across North America. Of course, we’re talking about WrestleMania – an event that has now seemingly developed a bidding process not unlike the FIFA World Cup or the Olympics (only without any allegations of corruption!)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that it’s WrestleMania Season. In the past decade, WrestleMania Weekend has become something of a magnet for independent promotions to “piggyback” on the biggest show of the year.
Less than 24 hours after the Fast Lane pay per view that left us with only a main event, WWE locked in a few more big matches for WrestleMania on Raw. However, both of those new directions ended up raising more questions than answers for the company’s big stars, and their aim as a whole.
Sunday night saw WWE complete their final pay-per-view before WrestleMania, with a Fast Lane pay-per-view that was notable for… very little, actually. The bookies (or at least, 888sport) had the results right in all-but-one match – and for someone notoriously awful at pay-per-view predictions, I came out 100% with my winners!
