Following on from Mark Haskins’ win last week, IPW took control of Defiant as the show rolled into London for a squash-heavy show, and an Internet title defence.
The Defiant/IPW rivalry continued again this week, as Defiant somehow were goaded into putting temporary control of the company on the line in this week’s main event.
Sixteen months. 33 episodes. Several reboots. The end of WCPW Loaded led to the death of the Prestige, for all intents and purposes, as all roads headed to the Defiant rebrand.
WCPW’s final iPPV – under this name, at least – saw a change at the top as transition “defiantly” started.
After a rather tumultuous week behind the scenes, Loaded stayed on-course for next month’s Refuse to Lose with a rather surprising turn of events between some former tag team champions…
The Pro Wrestling World Cup returned to the place it was announced – as Milton Keynes hosted the round of sixteen, and saw a hat-trick of fantastic matches to boot!
After five months off, Loaded returned as WCPW looked to get back to some semblance of normality – with a surprise title change and a solid main event.
