After a long, gruelling tour (to watch), the World Tag League wrapped up in Iwate as the Guerrillas of Destiny took on Los Ingobernables de Japon to decide what’d happen to those tag titles at WrestleKingdom on January 4.
Time for another “match from a show we’d not usually look at”, as we see whether Kenny Omega’s trip to Poughkeepsie was as good as they say.
The last major stop before WrestleKingdom, Power Struggle was a show that shone a light on the good and bad – while continuing to point us all towards the Tokyo Dome.
Change remained the name of the game as the road to WrestleKingdom took a diversion – with a three-way title defence for Kenny Omega in the main event.
It’s a show that you’d needed to have been under a rock to have not known about. Yeah, we’re massively late on this one.
