wXw returned to a sold-out Bielefeld as we were given a surprise main event as Ahura, Elijah Blum and Peter Tihanyi continued their skirmishes.

Three tournaments in one weekend came to a head, including the crowning of a new wXw Women’s World champion as Chihiro Hashimoto and Kanji faced off.

Tournament finals were set on a much-changed night of action on the Saturday night of Grand Prix weekend, which also saw Ahura defend his title for the second time in 24 hours.

Every title in wXw was on the line – as was the ROH championship – as wXw closed out their summer with a newsworthy Shortcut to the Top.

Jun Akiyama made his return to wXw for the first time since 2005 as part of a stuffed line-up in Oberhausen.

Yota Tsuji returned to wXw to headline against Peter Tihanyi – on a night where Quick and Dirty evoked memories of some other famous Hamburger Jungs.
