Korakuen Hall got its first taste of the G1 this year, with a block B card featuring intra-Ingobernables action whilst the Suzuki-gun and Bullet Club leaders clashed in the main event.

New Japan’s run of supershows culminated in Fukuoka earlier with their annual Wrestling Dontaku – a show with everything you’d want, and a clear match-of-the-year contender to boot!
After Thursday saw two titles change hands, it was a similar showing as Wrestling Toyonokuni was a two-match card last Saturday.
The first of three big New Japan shows in the next week saw us pull over on the road to Wrestling Dontaku for a main event with Hirooki Goto and Minoru Suzuki.
It’s more of the same from New Japan, as Korakuen Hall played host to another Road show, with a better-than-usual main event!
New Japan’s late-spring shows are on the horizon, so of course, it’s back to Korakuen for another Road to… show.
It took a while, but Sakura Genesis was a show definitely worth sticking around for.
