With New Japan’s G1 right around the corner, we’re going to be changing our focus… and so the vast, vast majority of our content for the next few weeks will be G1-centric.
Yes, we’ve officially reached the “cut-off” point friends! Typically our reviews are front-loaded, with as many as three-weeks worth of new stuff already in the bank (as we usually release one review a day, unless we’re able to drop something while it’s hot).
Whilst this doesn’t mean we’ll be skipping stuff (bar most of the WWE PPVs, as you may have noticed), it does mean that certain new reviews will be out a little later than usual. A quick look at the upcoming schedules put PROGRESS’ show in Birmingham last week on the “may be delayed” list, along with their shows later this month in Manchester and Camden. Likewise with next month’s Rev Pro Cockpit show, any EVOLVE shows we’ve missed and whatever else may drop between now and August 13 from the likes of ATTACK!, Fight Club: Pro and WCPW.
We’re pretty much a one-man-band here at Back Body Drop, and with the G1 and going to a few more live shows than most sane people ought to, you can see how a backlog can quickly build up!
Thanks to everyone in advance for their patience as we plough through the insanity that is the G1… and keep an eye on our Twitter feed next week, as we’ll be branching out with a new partner for those of you who like our current look…
