GWF’s search for the next addition to their women’s roster saw “Bad Bones” get a hankering for some goulash…
Man, that was a long and unexpected Christmas break, huh? Who’s Next Revolution is back after a few weeks away, and this time we’ve got John Klinger, Blue Nikita and Tarkan Aslan as the judges…
Out first, with “heel rock music” is Tazz Joyce. She’s from Oberhausen, and is 18 year old… there’s TikTok footage. Tazz apparently started training at the wXw academy, but there’s obviously more footage of her from the GWF Academy, before we go back to the live entrance… where Blue Nikita’s marking out for a fellow Greek, who’s… giving her coat to the crowd? Hope she gets paid a lot!
Tazz’s promo is in English, and there’s a good catchphrase: “Tazz Joyce is your choice”. Apparently that was all memorised… next up is Gulyas Iren, who’s Hungarian and was trained by the Arrows of Hungary. Her name literally translated is “goulash Iren”…
She’s had two matches, against former GWF Who’s Next winner Benji, and I’m getting something of a “old-timey housewife” vibe here. Sadly for John Klinger, Iren doesn’t do her promo into the wooden spoon, as she instead cuts a bit of a cheap-pop promo about Berlin. Problem is, she’s not said her name once!So from the tale of the tape, Joyce is 18 and will be working heel, having had one match in two years-or-so of training, while Iren’s two matches come from the back of two spells of training for the 25-year old, from 2013-6 and 2018-20.
Tazz Joyce vs. Gulyas Iren
Joyce is working as the bad guy here, and we get going with Joyce pointing out Iren’s physique. Lock-ups into the corner start the wrestling, before Joyce ran into a shoulder tackle… then back elbows. Iren gets a two-count from a slam, but a wacky chinbreaker has Joyce ahead as she took Iren into the corner. They hesitate on the way to a DDT, before we cut to Joyce elbowing out of a fireman’s carry, only or Iren to pull her back in for a Samoan drop that made Aslan swear… and it’s the finish.
Both women felt proud of themselves for the match, while we go to the judges: Tarkan Aslan loved Iren’s gimmick, before giving them both 5/10 marks. Blue Nikita’s unhappy with Tazz not doing her promo in Greek, then mentioned how Iren never gave her name… but was more positive with her mark.
Klinger tells Joyce to not toss her jacket away, before suggesting how the two are perhaps a little miscast away from here. All in all, a positive set of feedback from the clipped match, and considering these two have only had three matches between them, that’s got to be a good try-out for both Joyce and Iren.
We close with the last appeals from both Joyce and Iren, before we’re told that Jazz Lanka completely obliterated Lena Sophie in the fan poll, winning with 94.5% of the vote. That’s got to be a record, and perhaps a sign that on this show, characters matter…
