The WWE’s traditional showstealer kicked off their weekend as Takeover: New York crowned a new NXT Champion.

While perhaps a little New Japan-heavy, Rev Pro returned to ‘Mania weekend with another loaded show with more than a few familiar names from home.

We’re back in mid-town Manhattan as the WrestleCon action resumed, this time with a US vs. the World themed show as the convention made the most of the roster on hand.

One of the less obvious shows for ‘Mania weekend saw Interspecies Wrestling run a late, late show that brought on a Cease and Desist!

Last year it was Matt Riddle’s, but this year GCW’s no-rope shoot-fighting show bore the name of Josh Barnett – and proved to be another show-stealer.

Changes be damned, WrestleCon continued the tradition going as their schedule of events got going with their annual supershow!

wXw made their return to America as they took part in their first WrestleMania weekend with an authentic line-up.
