After a knock-out show with day one of the Super Strong Style 16 tournament, PROGRESS wrapped up the second half of their first ever double header with a ten-match strong card that also featured the first ever women’s match on a main chapter show. Let’s get to it with another edition of #BACKFILL…
Last year saw the debut of the Super Strong Style 16 tournament in PROGRESS – a two-day, 16-man tournament with the winner getting a shot at the championship at the end of it. With this year’s SSS16 tournament coming up next week, it’s time to go back and do a #BACKFILL for last year’s two-day tournament…
This afternoon saw PROGRESS hold their sixteenth “ENDVR” show – basically their version of NXT (before it became full of ex-TNA guys), in front of a packed crowd at The Garage in Islington, London.
We’re going deeper into the PROGRESS back catalogues for our latest #BACKFILL, and looking at their last ENDVR show (ENDVR 15) from March 2016. Yep, these shows aren’t given a snappy title, but we’ll endeavour to cover these… (groan)
Continuing our #BACKFILL series, and we’re back to Camden’s Electric Ballroom for PROGRESS Chapter 22 from October 2015, and the overly-titled “Trust, Encouragement, Reward, Loyalty, Satisfaction”. If that sounds familiar, it might be because you’re a fan of a British comedy…
PROGRESS returned to Camden on April 24 for Chapter 29 – “Practically Progress In Every Way” – with a show that featured a pair of matches for WWE’s Global Cruiserweight Series, and the finals of their latest Natural Progression Series. This would be an opportunity for the company to further put themselves on the map – and they grabbed the chance with both hands.
We return to Camden’s Electric Ballroom, for PROGRESS’ Chapter 21 event from September 2015, entitled “You Know We Don’t Like To Use The Sit Down Gun”. Google it – you’ll find a video of a talking bird!
