Monday saw WWE pull the trigger on the brand split, with the announcement of a draft between Raw and SmackDown that’ll take place on the first live episode of SmackDown in four weeks’ time.

So, the Internet rumour of the day is suggesting that WWE are on the verge of bringing back the brand split. That is, if you believe a rogue Ticketmaster listing that advertised “WWE Monday Night Raw vs WWE”.
Since debuting in NXT in May 2013, Baron Corbin has had a rather tumultuous run in developmental. After around a year stuck in a spot as enhancement talent, Corbin was rebooted in May 2014, and has been a focus of developmental, to the point where a main roster call-up is on the horizon.
With WWE now reporting on the strong rumours of signing the New Japan foursome of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Galloway, thoughts now turn to what WWE will actually do with their new arrivals. Now, I can only suggest that these are “Triple H signings”, given that these fit the template of the signings that he’s been credited with to date. So, with that preemptive idea in mind, here are a few “good idea, bad idea” suggestions for WWE and their newbies.
Throughout the years, there’s been a long list of “internet darlings”; wrestlers who have had a vocal following online, but have, for whatever reason, have struggled to make that breakthrough and have that popularity reflect into the mainstream (or at least, get the chance to do so).
