wXw returned to the Eventhall Airport last weekend, and we’ve another trio of matches to take a look over.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen any wXw from the Eventhall Airport – 2020’s Road to 16 Carat Gold show, in fact… although parts of that haven’t aged particularly well. This time around, we’ve got an isometric view of the ring to try and get around that column in the middle of the room, and wrestlers coming through the crowd.
We’re running without any commentary for this particular bunch of matches…
Quick & Dirty (Niklas Bock & Hugo Brand) vs. Roadkill (Aeron & Conn Kelly)
Hugo Brand wanted in to start, so he could gyrate at Conn Kelly. I think this is the first time I’ve seen he and Aeron in proper matching gear, which is an upgrade.
A simple legdrop from Brand gets an early two-count, before Niklas Bock came in and found himself getting both of his arms wrung off by Roadkill. Brand’s back to help put Quick & Dirty back in front… at least until Aeron and Kelly hit the ring to put the boots to him in the corner.
Aeron’s cravat takes Brand down to the mat before Brand’s attempt to avoid a double-team led to him eating a flying Kelly clothesline for a two-count. Roadkill maintained control, even baiting Bock into the ring for a spell, before Brand finally made inroads, scoring with a froggy crossbody.
That’s enough to bring Bock back in to clear house, leading to a double cutter on Roadkill before an Exploder almost put Aeron away. Still though, Roadkill hadn’t gotten the illegal man out… and that proved to be their path to victory after Aeron caught a springboard from Bock, before a flying bulldog from Kelly got the win. This was fine, but I’d like to see Roadkill pick a lane and work that exclusively, rather than flip back and forth. **½
Kade Brasher vs. Diana Strong
It’s a main roster debut for the Bavarian Brasher, and a return for Strong, whose only prior wXw outing was in a four-way during Femmes Fatales in 2024. She’s made some headlines since, including recently deposing a certain CEO of a title…
Brasher went for the hair early, taking Strong into the corner… only for Diana to kinda return the favour as the pair were looking for their first real inroads. The search for a bodyslam proved fruitless at first, before Strong finally got Brasher up for one. Brashes rakes the eyes to escape a Fireman’s carry before she rolled Strong down for a kick to the back, following up with a sidewalk slam moments later.
Irish whips from Kade took Strong from corner-to-corner, ahead of a fallaway slam and the Three Amigos rolling suplexes as Strong was finding it hard going against the debuting Brasher. A search for a superplex stops Brasher as Strong countered with a tornado suplex, before some chops were shrugged off as Kade again went for a fallaway slam.
Instead, Strong slips out and sweeps the leg before coming close from a Vader bomb, before a military press slam swung the match back in Kade’s favour. In the end, Brasher misses a curb stomp as Strong returned with a knee strike… before her Power Play death valley driver got the win. **½
Dennis Dullnig vs. Peter Tihanyi
Since dropping the Shotgun title, Dullnig’s become something of a regular on wXw’s Thursday drops – in one form or another.
Dullnig jumped on Tihanyi at the bell, but the Hungarian countered back with a headlock takedown of his own before some misdirection confused Dullnig en route to a simple boot to the face.
An attempted cheapshot from Dullnig just gets him chopped into the corner ahead of a dropkick that sent Dullnig bailing to the outside for respite. Tihanyi followed as Dullnig tried to walk out, with Dullnig getting chopped into the front row before climbing onto the box by the ring. It went about as well as you could expect, with Tihanyi throwing Dullnig’s leg into the side of the box before they headed back inside.
Back inside, Dullnig uses the referee as cover to suckerpunch Tihanyi, which gave the former Shotgun champ the opening as he began to focus on Tihanyi’s lower back… then on that previously-injured shoulder. Tihanyi’s able to throw his way free of an armbar before crashing into Dullnig with an enziguiri… before a swinging DDT almost won him the match.
Tihanyi’s stopped up top as Dullnig cuts him off… eventually landing a leaping knee to the face before dragging him down for a Falcon arrow. The gutwrench powerbomb’s next for a near-fall from Dullnig, who added an arm whip… but the follow-up stomp misses as Tihanyi crashed back with a running Meteora and a slingshot cutter to finish things off. This was pretty solid, with Dullnig working a logical match against Tihanyi’s prior injuries – but in the end he was outclassed here. ***
