Marc Empire vs. Amedeo
The prior night, Amedeo came up short for the wXw Shotgun title… this time he’s got another title holder in Marc Empire.
Empire easily won an early test of strength, but a dropkick from Amedeo put the Belgian right in it as he looked to outpace the tag champion. A standing moonsault barely got Amedeo a one-count, before Empire began to chop his way into the match as he began to have his way with Amedeo.
A backbreaker and sidewalk slam combo’s good for a two-count, before Amedeo’s attempted comeback with a crossbody was turned into a crushing slam for another two-count. Empire again continued to overpower the newcomer from there, but charges into boots and elbows in the corner ahead of… another crossbody that’s caught.
This time Amedeo’s able to escape, but he’s caught in the corner with an avalanche splash before getting launched across the ring. A chinlock’s fought out of by Amedeo, who added an overhead kick to the mix… then a German suplex for good measure. Amedeo got too far ahead of himself in going for a gutwrench… and that’s curtains for him as Empire struck his way free, before a hip attack and a pull-up powerbomb out of the corner proved to be enough. **¾
Katsuya Murashima & M4 vs. Roadkill (Aeron & Conn Kelly)
Murashima’s still finding his feet in wXw, while one fan on the stage really didn’t seem to jive with Roadkill!
Murashima and Aeron get us going as Aeron simply got overpowered and thrown into the corner to start, before a battle of shoulder tackles ended with Aeron landing a dropkick… before getting charged down. Conn Kelly tags in and headbutts the turnbuckle before he got charged down too. Fun times!
M4’s in, but instantly got attacked from behind as Kelly slipped out of a slam, before chops from the pair had M4 right back in the driver’s seat. Murashima returns to throw some more chops, before M4 took care of Kelly as he curled him before hitting a slam. Kelly tries to overpower M4, but to no avail, before Aeron had enough and blindsided Murashima having blind-tagged in seconds earlier.
Aeron’s push quickly falls apart as a Judo throw, a flip senton and a big splash nearly gets the win for Murashima, before a Boston crab attempt from Murashima was broken up by Kelly. M4 rushed in to stop Kelly, but in doing so the referee loses sight of Murashima getting choked by Aeron, who was using Kelly’s torn-off shorts for nefarious means.
With Murashima firmly on the defensive, Kelly’s able to keep him grounded with a chinlock… then with an eye rake for good measure. Aeron’s back with a basement dropkick into the corner as Roadkill finally were chaining together some offence, stopping to bait M4 into the ring so they could again choke out Murashima with those shorts.
Kelly adds a Bronco Buster to the mix, missing it on the second time of asking as Murashima tried to make it to M4, only to get stopped yet again by Aeron choking him with the shorts. This time, Aeron’s brought into the ring as Murashima broke free and finally made the hot tag to M4, who ran wild with corner-to-corner clotheslines ahead of a suplex to Kelly for a two-count.
M4 and Murashima dish out some double-teams of their own en route to a chokeslam on Kelly. Murashima busts out a giant swing from there as a precursor to a Boston crab, with M4 adding a camel clutch to the mix to force the submission. Not quite sure Felix Schultz was applying the rules strictly there, but with Aeron nowhere to be seen it was only a matter of time. ***
wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship: Dieter Schwartz vs. Elijah Blum (c)
Schwartz is shushing anyone who’s making noise, as Dan Mallmann announced that Elijah Blum had demanded to reward the Erfurt fans by making this a title match.
Dieter powdered to the outside after Blum frustrated him in the early going, before we resumed with a test of strength that took the champion down for some one-counts. Schwartz keeps it on the mat as he worked a toe hold, only for Blum to escape and grab a side headlock.
The back-and-forth continued with Schwartz working a wristlock… stopping to let go as Blum went for a dropkick after he’d worked his way back to his feet. Eventually Blum found a way in with a dropkick, pushing his way free of a side headlock, before a stalling suplex scraped a two-count out of Schwartz.
Schwartz powders to the stage… but that just baited Blum in for a cheapshot in the entirely-cramped ringside, before using the bottom rope to his own advantage. A charge from Schwartz ends with him getting hiptossed into the ring, before a running slingshot spear from Blum saw him take advantage of the surroundings for a near-fall.
Blum couldn’t build much momentum though as Schwartz hotshots him into the ropes, before Blum ate a full nelson slam out of nowhere. A straitjacket choke on the mat follows, but Blum again breaks free of Schwartz, taking him down with an enziguiri before finally building his comeback with flying forearms and a flip neckbreaker. Hey, that’s half of the Grind!
Clotheslines in the corner weaken Schwartz some more ahead of a moonsault press out of it for a two-count, before Schwartz rolled away from a sliding D and made a return with a diving European uppercut. A shotgun dropkick stopped a threatened comeback though, with Blum’s Falcon arrow almost doing the deal. Schwartz escaped the Total Depravity before the pair clattered into each other with a double clothesline, which almost led to the stoppage.
After beating the count, the pair trade blows with increasing speed, leading to Blum sneaking in a backslide. Schwartz again avoids a sliding D as he then looked to counter back with the arm trap submission… but instead Blum throws his way free before a counter got countered into a suplex from Schwartz. Dieter keeps going with a teardrop suplex out of the corner for a near-fall, before another crack at the arm trap submission ended with Blum somehow rolling his way up to his feet.
From there, Total Depravity followed after Schwartz had lost grip… before the Sliding D finally paid off as Blum took home the win. Nitpicking, but if this hadn’t been announced as a title match, I’d have bitten more on Schwartz’s big moves, but this was a hell of a showing for a Dieter Schwartz who had a quietly good end to 2025 – and so far is continuing to show the same form in 2026. ***¾
Post-match, Schwartz refuses the offer of a handshake and instead stormed to the back as the show closed out…
