Well, it’s finally happening, it seems. SmackDown is moving to Tuesday nights in July, going live, and is seemingly going to be given increased attention as the USA Network sets up live wrestling every Monday and Tuesday night.

The A-Block were back in action on Monday, as this year’s New Japan Best of Super Juniors tournament rolled on, with the Tsubame Civic Gymnasium in Niigata our latest home for tournament action.
The 23rd Best of Super Junior tournament rolled on this past Sunday and Monday, with further matches from the round-robin portion of the tournament. Fortunately, New Japan World’s only added those matches to the service, so there’s no need to pick and choose!
Just three weeks after Payback, WWE was back on pay-per-view for Extreme Rules – a show that at least looked good on paper, even if the top three matches were all rematches.
In the last twenty years, the British wrestling scene has moved away from being a hive of tribute/rip-off shows, and has become a hotbed of stellar shows and also home to some of the best up and coming talent in the world. Needless to say, it wasn’t always like this.

The 23rd Best of the Super Junior tournament kicked off this Saturday with some blowaway action in Korakuen Hall, with some late changes to the tournament, thanks to the withdrawal of both Young Bucks through injury.
After a knock-out show with day one of the Super Strong Style 16 tournament, PROGRESS wrapped up the second half of their first ever double header with a ten-match strong card that also featured the first ever women’s match on a main chapter show. Let’s get to it with another edition of #BACKFILL…
